Tiles
Patterns are something of an obsession of mine, and one of my favorite examples of this are the beautifully colored and geometric Moroccan tiles. I began studying them years ago, in 2014, and I've returned many times to learn more about and be inspired by them. Here are my sketches and creations from over the years on this subject.

I was very lucky to have the opportunity to visit
The Alhambra when I studied in Spain, which allowed me to sketch the tiles in person.
When I returned to the States and had access to a kiln, I made a soap dish with a design from tiles I saw there.
